WHY MALAYS WILL NOT SUPPORT PAKATAN

IF what I write makes me a racist, so be it.

But, there is no way for majority of the Malays in this country to give their votes to Pakatan Rakyat because by doing so they indirectly empower a chauvinistic Chinese DAP to be a major force in the Government.

DAP may try to hoodwink the Malays by promising to put Anwar Ibrahim as Prime Minister if Pakatan Rakyat wins. But, the Malays know that a puppet Prime Minister is not a Prime Minister. DAP leaders who pulled the strings will hold the power and the Malays will not permit this.

In the past, DAP leaders had arrogantly called on the Government to hire more non-Malays (Chinese) to helm some of the GLCs and other public institutions. They were quick to point fingers at the Government as favoring the Malays against other races to head these organizations.

Ironically, DAP never uttered a word to ask the many Chinese-owned corporations to give more senior positions to qualified Malays. We can see that such organizations would not promote Malays to key positions in these companies. It is rare for a Malay to apply jobs in Chinese-owned firms where the job requirement advertised clearly states "fluent in Mandarin" as a criteria.

Hence, we see Malays in senior but not key positions in these companies and, of course, their number is normally single digit. The common post assigned to them are as heads of Public Affairs or Human Resource.

The Malays know this very well. They have seen the unfair practices of the DAP which claimed to be a multi-racial party but is actually a Chinese chauvinistic political movement.

DAP slogan Malaysian Malaysia is just mere slogan. The moment, the see a threat to the rights of Chinese, even for the sake of the nation, the leaders go berserk in defending it. DAP leaders will not compromise.

To the Malays, UMNO and Barisan Nasional would continue to ensure their survival in this country. Their interests and that of their children would be protected and preserved by UMNO as long as the party continue to remain in power. The majority of the Malays will ensure that the party continue to govern the nation through Barisan Nasional.
